At the heart of our mobile applications often lie HTTP calls, and various outsourced APIs. However, it’s easy not to understand the risks associated with these calls, or to master the best practices and pitfalls to avoid!
By looking (humorously) at some (very) bad examples I’ve come across, we’ll see what’s behind our web protocols, the implications for security, and you’ll gain a better understanding of certain aspects of a backend developer’s work, with the aim of collaborating better with them, and securing your applications better!
